The Coalition for Human Rights in Development’s new report, Un-calculated Risks: Threats and Attacks Against Human Rights Defenders and the Role of Development Financiers, shows how defenders in development face increasing threats and attacks though 25 case studies. It examines the role of development finance institutions and recommends better ways to ensure development respects human rights and safeguards those who defend them.
